I got in a deep long talk with my best friend tonight. we talked about anything and everything. but we took more time talking about the youth of today.
The youth of day is the ME generation and i think that is the most true. Teens now day can not go a day without technology, social networking, cell phones, and T.V's. I believe if you took the materialistic things away from them a HUGH hand full of the youth would go crazy. The "ME" generations no longer really knows how to carry a conversation face to face or over the phone. They don't know what the word respect means sometimes. We sometimes have lost sight of what is really right, and what life is really worth.
I don't put myself in this "ME" generations. I would rather have friends and family. They will always be by my side no matter what, they always have my back. I sometimes feel like this generations just need there eyes reopened to what really matters. Its not always about the next big thing, the clothes you wear, how much money your parents make to buy you big fancy toys and what not, what really matters is how YOU carry yourself in the end. The "ME" generation i think are the ones that have to change the world. I challenge anyone who reads this to take the time and write someone a thank you note, hold a door open, give someone a smile, help someone out, donate clothes, make someones day. take a chance and go a couple days without your phone, without social networking. Go out and change the view on the "ME" generation.
